Prompt, pleasant , honest locksmith.
Dougie came out on a Sunday when my old front door lock jammed , locking me out. He was pleasant , prompt and helpful. After ordering the new lock he returned to fit it . It took longer than expected but he did not make any additional charge. I would definitely recommend ACQ . I am in my 70's and live alone and can recommend Dougie with confidence as honest and reliable.

Emergency call to replace lock
My wooden conservatory door needed a replacement lock as the key was old and worn and no longer functioned . After an early morning call Dougie came straight away and completed the work swiftly and efficiently. He was very courteous and polite. Would definitely recommend.

Attention to lock In conservatory
I have just been charged £59 for a few squirts to the hinges of this door. I believe this was much too expensive. I would not recommend using this company .

UPVC door lock repair
Dougie Silver (company proprietor) turned up exactly when he said he would, was obviously extremely well versed in his trade and had my problem cured (change of gearbox) in just less than an hour. Dougie is extremely personable and, before he left, took the time to ensure that overall the door was operating properly and, as well as changing the gearbox, also realigned the door, cleaned it and tidied away all mess. Given the high level of service, Dougie’s rates are extremely competitive and I would not hesitate in using him should I have security related issues in future.
