Adlocks Locksmiths Ltd is a family run, local Master locksmiths based in Hatfield Peverel and run by me, Kevin the locksmith.
I will be your main point of contact from your initial call, to the work being carried out, so you can be assured you know who you are dealing with. I am fully trained, insured and UK Locksmith Association vetted and approved.

Replace double glazing locked window handle. Locked shut; unable to open
Excellent work and initiative from Kevin at Adlocks. A new Everest window handle had failed in locked position. Excellent work to dismantle and open the window. Excellent skill and initiative to rebuild a new locking mechanism as existing one now obsolete.
Replace failed lock on front door
Prompt and thorough service especially on a bank holiday with offer of follow up assistance if necesssay. A great find in an emergency..
Change locks on windows and doors
I can't recommend Kevin more highly enough. He was reasonable and very efficient and reliable. Nothing was to much trouble. He gave me alternative advice that was cost saving but didn't compromise on the quality of workmanship. He even rebuilt some of my old window locks, where others may well of wanted to replace them with new.
Replacing a faulty lock
Kevin replaced an old lock with minimum fuss. He was polite and, very importantly, stayed in touch and came when he said he would.
An old patio lock was replaced and a new one fitted. A repair made to the lock on the front door.
Kevin provided outstanding service, he was friendly and punctual. The work was carried out using excellent workmanship, at a very fair price. I will definitely use his services again in the future, should the need arise. I would highly recommend Kevin to my family and friends and anyone who reads this review.
UPVC door entry and lock repair
My back door multi-lock mechanism had failed in the shut position. Kevin of Adlocks called me soon after I posted my quote request on Checkatrade and accepted my job. He visited later that day and was able to open the seized door, replace the broken gear box, realign the deadbolts and generally service the mechanism. He was knowledgeable, thorough and professional in his work. I paid a fair and reasonable price for an excellent job. I recommend this firm.
