Replaced motor on garage door
10Verified ReviewOur garage door opener and controllers were aged and perishing. Advance Shutters talked me through a couple of options and ultimately replaced the motor. Seb, their technician, was quick, capable, and explained what he found and what he needed to do. And did it. And cleared up properly. All works fine now.

2Verified ReviewI contacted this company to repair a rollerglide garage door, I knew that either the motor or PCB was broken. I was hoodwinked into paying £235 for the callout which I thought included all labour even if parts needed to be ordered. After all £235 is more than a days labour in maintenance/building terms. The engineer was nice enough and told me I needed a new motor and possible PCB (no surprise there). Then he told me there would be more labour to pay plus parts. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere to a company which do not charge a diagnosis fee and come in much cheaper.
