  Emergency repair to a front door.

  The job was an emergency repair to a front door which had been damaged and was not secure. At short notice notice in the late afternoon Ash arrived and solved the problem. He arrived promptly when he said he would and quickly assessed the situation and then went to purchase the materials to repair the door. The job was done quickly and to a very high professional standard. Additionally, he spotted and corrected a problem caused by an early attempt to secure the door by another contractor. I can recommend A. Gorman Carpentry for any joinery work based an my experience.

  Installation of secondary handrail on a complicated stairway

  l contacted this wonderful company and they arranged a survey promptly. Ashley gave a detailed explanation to my partner and myself about what the job involved and a breakdown of the cost, date and time of installation. A few days before installation day, reminder was sent to me. And on installation day they arrived promptly, prepared site for work, brief us and our tenants about works and timings. The installation was professional with full attention to detail at a reasonable price. They takes pride in their work, very skilled , excellent attention to detail. A trial will convince you.

  Ash brings amazing attention to detail

  We wanted filler panels installed around our custom wardrobe and a door installed in our kitchen over an exposed extractor fan and Ash was absolutely amazing. He was patient, took time to understand what we wanted and finished everything to absolute millimeter precision, all whilst having to work in some really awkward spaces. It looks absolutely perfect and we can’t thank him enough.

  Fitting 3 new internal doors (including 2 fire doors)

  I had 3 internal plain doors fitted, 2 of them very very heavy fire doors. The work was completed across 2 half days. I am very happy with the results. It was easy to liaise with him, I made a video of what was needed, and he explained steps well during the installation. Pricing was very reasonable, and he was very organised.

  Ashley built fitted storage for us in our converted attic room. He kept us updated on the progress of the job at all times and was consistent with his quote, despite the work taking longer than planned. It's clear from how he conducts himself that he cares deeply about the work he does and takes pride in doing a good job and having satisfied customers. He took on board any ideas we had about the design and was very keen to ensure that the unit was built as we imagined it, despite it being in an awkward space. I would have no hesitation in getting Ashley back to complete further work for us.
