Breach of contract under Consumer Rights act 2015 by not carrying out work using reasonable care and skill. Paid £4250 before completion and they have left us without a usuable drive. We were not willing to settle the final payment until they resolved the many issues/snags raised. Within less that 24 hrs of them demanding final payment they ripped up part of our drive making it unusable. They refused to acknowledge that there was any issues. A CCJ for £8517.5 has now been issued by the small claims court and the local authorities are also considering an investigation.

We are sorry you were unhappy however we did try on several occasions to try and rectify the situation but you would not come and discuss this with us which we found difficult to understand as we had previously had a good relationship with you but for some reason this changed during this final job you requested from us.
We have never had any issues with any other customers on any other jobs and our other Checkatrade reviews.
We remain positive we can come to an agreement as to how we can resolve this for you.
