  Nice LVT installation

The communication with Alfie was very good. He made him self available when issues were encountered with the supplier and the job was done within the necessary timings. He did a good job of installing the flooring and I am pleased with the quality of the flooring job. Unfortunately the freshly painted walls were stained in the process and had to be party repainted. ADDITION - [27.10.2026] - After discussing the situation with Alfie it has become clearer that the marks on the walls sometimes cannot be avoided. He has offered to come and fix the problem for me, and the situation has been rectified.

  Response from AJS Flooring

Hi Anna, thank you for your review. I’m pleased you were happy with the finished floor. I do feel some context is important. The floor required around 3 hours of additional cleaning at my own cost. Due to the remaining contamination, I also had to work additional primer thoroughly into the surface to encapsulate the dirt and make it suitable for installation. Unfortunately, this resulted in some primer reaching the walls. I was also working around other trades. My terms cover minor wall touch-ups, and I offered to return in my own time to rectify the affected areas.

  Excellence

Alfie was absolutely fantastic. We discovered that my ground floor was an absolute minefield of problems. Alfie transformed it into a beautiful flowing space, incredibly it is level and he has finished it with enormous skill. The job was done with speed and openness. I couldn’t have asked for more

  Reliable, finished to perfection

Alfie was brilliant, gave me options and design ideas for a very difficult uneven floor. Now you wouldn’t even know, finished to perfection, but was so quick on time and reliable.

  LVT flooring

Alfie stepped in on short notice to help me out when another contractor let us down. He was upfront with costs, turned up when he said he would every day, worked incredibly hard to get the job completed quickly and cleaned up after himself, would definitely recommend!

  Fantastic living room/hallway LVT fitting

Absolutely fantastic job. Alfie was top notch from initial contact through till the finished product. Gave us an honest up front quote with no hidden extras. His communication was great from the get go, listening to our requirements and advising on the best product. When it came to fitting, again he was great. Given that it was during the heatwave, he came and fitted the ply, but advised that it was potentially too hot to fit the product, we postponed by 2 days and this is a testament not only to his professionalism, but also the pride he takes in his work. Already planning more work for him

We cannot recommend Alfie at AJS Flooring enough

We cannot recommend Alfie at AJS Flooring enough! He has just completed our flooring and we are absolutely over the moon with it. From the very beginning, Alfie’s customer service was what made us choose him, and he has lived up to our expectations. He went above and beyond throughout the whole process to make sure everything was completed to a really high standard, keeping us updated and making sure we were happy every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and you can genuinely tell he takes pride in his work. The floor is looking amazing!
