  Substandard cost transparency and severe overcharging against initial estimates

  Plumbing repairs to our shower, sink, and toilet were completed to a high standard, but the pricing transparency was unacceptable. An initial rough quote of £540 totalled £1,126 paid across three visits (£586 over): • 18th Sept: Charged £215 to inspect and source parts (quoted £90 1st hr / £50 2nd). • 21st Sept: Charged £280 for toilet/shower work, leaving the toilet leaking. • 24th Sept: Charged £631 for sink, shower drain, and remedial toilet work. Immediate payment was requested on the doorstep without paperwork. Despite chasing, no itemised invoice has arrived after 10 days of waiting.

  24th Sept, I supplied and fitted New kitchen mixer tap. Price agreed beforehand. You then asked me to remove the leaking and poorly constructed under sink waste. I supplied a new one plus a new shower waste which required removing various Batons, and sealing the floor afterwards. Your wife continued to talk about the studio construction planned. Hardly demanding! Very ungrateful review, unnecessary.

  Pressurised Tank Installation

  I called Adam from Albion Property Solutions to discuss problems I was having with the water pressure upstairs in the property. He came and had a look at the system, and gave me very detailed advice on the options I had to improve things. I chose to have a pressurised tank installed and was given a very competitive price to carry out the work, which I accepted. Adam ordered all the parts and carried out the work within the time frame discussed. He worked very hard and did a fantastic job to get everything up and running. I'm so very pleased with the new system and so glad I chose Albion.

  Flood damaged bathroom floor replacement + new sink and toilet fitting

  Absolutely brilliant service. Came out short notice and sorted out my flood damaged bathroom, explained everything clearly and did a really thorough job getting it all fixed properly (new floorboards, removal of old ones, new toilet and sink fitted). Reliable, friendly and clearly knows his stuff. Would definitely recommend and will be using him again if I need anything in future!

  When you need someone you can trust, give Adam a call.

  Adam was a delight to deal with. I had a rough idea of what was required as a work around for an under concrete floor leak. The pipe was losing 55litres per hour, water that had been heated by my boiler so was becoming expensive to continue. He agreed with my answer to the problem, I had supplied some photos prior and a deposit by bank transfer. He turned up when expected and completed the work in one day. £730 inc materials seemed a fair price, I could have probably done the work myself, but not in one day (more like 1 week). I'm hoping to claim most of the cost back from my house insurance
