Just what you want from a tradesman - good, high-quality work; reliable and punctual; tidy and respectful; and gives regular updates and communicates any problems clearly, with solutions. We are very pleased with this rendering work and would use ALB again. In fact, we have asked for a quote for some roofing work, too.

Steve gave me a reasonable quote to render and bead over a 14 metre side wall. He took 2 & half days to do the job! He run out of render on the smooth coat and had to go and get another bag. Unfortunately this was a critical error as the midday sun was beating down on the wall. So after two days hair line cracks started to appear and two ran all the way down the wall. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I contacted Steve and said he was busy and wouldn't guarantee the work as it was not taken back to the brick before he rendered the wall. I only wanted him to make good on the job!

Amazing work on our garden wall. Let me know what he was doing and was really reliable for the 3 days he was here. Definitely recommend.

Steve did a fantastic job on my garden wall. The wall was not in great condition and was sparring. He explained that by applying a mesh and render, that it would strengthen it and improve the look of it. He was reliable and very punctual, always cleaned up afterwards. Really pleased with the end result.
