By far the best roofers in the north-west
Literally the best roofers in the Northwest. I like my jobs done properly. Alco will do your job thoroughly, diligently and professionally. Organisation on point, skill set extremely high. Alco did me a new roof

Roof re-tiled + felted
Cannot praise this company enough. Wish I had used them on some previous work carried out. They were professional with excellent communication. Full roof replaced with new battens, felt and tiles. So, so happy with the work. Everything carried out to exceptional standard, and they left the place spotless after they had finished and scaffold taken down. New roof
Garry and the team did a great job of re-using our slate tiles and relaying. The original roof was over 100 years old and was in desperate need of relaying. Garry showed an incredible passion towards slate roofs which struck a nice chord with us. Re-roofing
Gary and his team were very hard-working and friendly, and did a great job. We got a lot of quotes from different companies, and many of these seemed to be taking us for a ride. Gary was the only one that actually went up to look at the roof to give us a quote, and it was a fair price. Not only that, but it snowed half way through the job, but the team were there that morning despite the poor weather. Further, Gary is part of a scheme where you can get a certificate. 4/5 for cleaning was as we have found some debris and nails in the garden, but it may have be hard to see with scaffoldong up.Verified reviewerJob location: M29

Hi, my name is Garry and together with my business partner Wayne and our sons we run a family business. On a personal note me and Wayne have been working in the roofing industry for 35 years and in that time we have worked on all manner of projects from small repairs to re-roofing housing estates. We are polite, honest and above all take real pride in our work.
We are based in Bolton covering all areas within 50 miles of BL3. We are VAT registered.
We undertake all roofing work from tiling and slating to general roofing maintenance and repairs, with no job being considered as too big or too small. We guarantee a high standard of workmanship every time, with outstanding customer care. We adopt an honest approach to roofing where we go up onto your roof and take photos/video of any problems then come down and show you then together we can work out the best way to resolve any issues.
We compile roof reports where we go and take photos of any problems or potential problems, then make a report with attached photos highlighting issues then send to you via email
We also offer free, non obligatory quotes and estimates. We are fully insured and all operatives holding valid skilled construction skills Certificate cards, and CITB Level 2 NVQ diplomas in slating and roof tiling.
We are also members of the government backed COMPETENT ROOFER scheme that allows professional roofing contractors to self certify that there work meets building regulation standards so we can offer independent 10 year insurance backed guarantees on all roof refurbishments for your piece of mind.
We are registered installers of FIRESTONE rubber roof systems and PRO GRP glass fibre roof systems
