Required a consumer unit replacement, new supply to electric range, socket and switch upgrades. Allan came when he said he would to provide a quote. He was extremely thorough in checking things that looked a bit off. His quote was very competitive. While doing the work, Allan was down to earth, had a good sense of humour. Work quality looks good, mess was kept to a minimum. If I have more electrical work to do, Allan will be my first call.

Allan came to look into three different electrical issues we'd had for quite a while. He was able to quickly get to the route cause of all tree issues and resolve two of them straight away. The third issue will require more work to resolve and my wife and I need to decide if we wish to proceed or not. Allan was friendly, helpful and informative of the issues. He explained clearly what the problems had been and what was involved in fixing. I am very happy with his work and would definitely go back to Allan if we need further work.

Allan came recommended by wider family. Half our fuse box stopped working suddenly and thought we needed it replaced. He was able to diagnose the issue over the phone and talked us through how to get the power back on over the phone. He then came out the next morning to fix the issue which was not the fuse box but a faulty wire to a socket. Would highly recommend as he gave honest and reliable advice over the phone to help us understand what had gone wrong. Then was able to sort the issue quickly the following morning for a very reasonable price.

I've been using Allan for years now after finding him on here. Every time he's done the job when he said he would, to an excellent standard and at the price agreed. His knowledge knows no bounds and he's totally upfront and honest about every aspect of any work. He is also very approachable, communicates clearly and makes sure everything is good for me. This time it was only a small job but it's generally difficult for me to have any tradespeople in my home but I trust Allan totally so have no hesitation to call him when I need him, and absolutely recommend him for everything electrical!
