Called last minute as one of our plug sockets started crackling and sounded very unsafe. He came out that evening which I really wasn’t expecting and checked it over. Needed a new plug socket and some the wiring looking at we were just so glad he could come out when he did to make it safe.

Very professional talked us through the different things wrong with the electrics in our house too for if we wanted to address them in future. Was lovely and polite and talked us through everything he was doing so we knew exactly what was up and why.

Replace ceiling lights and light switch

I called Shear on Tuesday, he was able to pop in the same day to check out the job. Agreed a price and the work was completed quickly and efficiently, very happy with the end result. Would have no hesitation in using Shear again.

Mr Gill is incredibly thorough and explains everything as he goes along. He is involved in training apprentices and so is very exact with his work.

Really pleasant and courteous young men. They did a great job, even identifying a fault on one light fitting which couldn't be installed. They even hoovered up after their work
