  Tudor cladding on apartment block in Swinton, Manchester

  We used Alpha Construction to replace our Tudor cladding on a block of 12 apartments, the old cladding had been on there since the building was constructed in around 1996, Tom, Craig and the older Gentleman Steve were fantastic from start to finish, left everywhere clean and tidy each day, completed the job ahead of schedule too, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these lads, thanks

  I recently had all new soffits, fascias, guttering and mock Tudor cladding installed. Craig and Tom were fantastic from start to finish, they answered every question (no matter how silly it may have been), I cannot recommend them highly enough!

  Remove and replace 250 year old ceiling

  What a fabulous job from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble . Very helpful and courteous moving all furniture out of room covering and protecting existing flooring so as not to cause any damage. Not an easy task demolition of 250 year old ceiling whilst living there ! All carried out within three days rebording, insulating and plastering to an excellent standard, so impressed highly recommend will definitely use again.

  5 internal doors with locks and handles

  Fuller and Craig responded to my query on Check-a-Trade within the same day. They turned up and listened to what I needed doing. They gave me a quote within 2 hours. They stuck to the deadlines we agreed. The doors were supplied and fitted on the same day for a fair price. I even suggested we go into business together I was so impressed. The doors look good and function very well. Trustworthy tradesmen in their prime. Use them whilst you still can.

  Broken Ridge board

  Tom contacted me to carry out a quote on a broken ridge board. I sent over the surveyors report and wording regarding the ridge board. Arranging a time and date was quick, as soon as he arrived he said he may need to consult a structural engineer 1st red flag. 2nd red flag Tom came to the property without ladders, knowing the property was vacant. It has been 2 weeks since and after saying a structural engineer needed to visit I have had no quote to pass on to vendors. I feel this must have been beyond his capabilities, he should have said. No good with time sensitive jobs
