Change ignition Barrel

Repairing a car immobiliser on our 20 year old car.
What a great guy. He undertook to do a search for a replacement and managed to find a used version on line, of the correct year car. He fitted it into the steering column, awkward job or what. Fitted it at our home. Car now working ok and now both our keys are working where only one key was occasionally working. We would worry about driving somewhere and not being able to start the car to get home. Option would have been to scrap the car and buy another. A good result for us. Thanks Ira.
Car lock and ignition barrell
Couldn't recommend Amber Locksmiths enough! After (stupidly) losing my car key on a cold Saturday afternoon, Ari was with me within 20 minutes and worked solidly to resolve the issue. After managing to get inside the car with the key cut, we unfortunately encountered a further issue due to my ignition barrel (previously known issue) so Ari was able to advise on, and replace this also, despite being unexpected. Professional and reassuring throughout. It was quite a job in the end for what it should have been. A*, thank you!!
Cut key and replace chip
Came out and solved my problem promptly and efficiently and gave me good advice on how to deal with future issues.
Supply and programme new key fob
What a great guy Ira is, never a nice time to have to replace remote key/fob with the price dealers charge but Ira came very quickly, he supplied the new key fob, programmed it and even cut the blade/key which he never quoted for but did and didn’t even charge for, price was way cheaper than dealers, excellent job, great guy, worth every penny…many thanks
