  I cannot sing more highly the praises for Amco. I knew as soon as I met them that they were going to do a good job. We put them through their paces, and they consistently impressed us. Whenever a problem occurred, Amco very quickly researched and found a solution. Always positive. No moaning, no teeth sucking. Always looking for best solution according to appropriate budget. The team were always incredibly polite, friendly, cheerful, gentlemanly, professional. Amco were also brilliant at sourcing other tradesmen and overseeing when necessary. The job has been done to a very high standard

  Amco did a top notch job from the beginning to the end, kept us up to date every step of the way, including the inevitable complications with any building project! All the team were fantastic. Amco also came up with practical solutions where the original design would not have worked in reality, this sort of skill only comes with experience, which they certainly have!!!

  Tony and Sandra were exceptional from start to finish. We’ve had a lot of building work done in our lives and Amco were the most dependable, hands down. Sandra was lovely to deal with from the quote stage, always clear and available to answer our questions. Tony very obviously cares about the customers and (rightly) takes pride in his work. We came across a couple of problems along the way and he solved them quickly. The whole team were on site for around 10 weeks and were lovely, happy and helpful. Fotty in particular is great to have around and all left things to a high standard.

  This is an unusual and exceptional team who in double quick time took us from a rough idea of what we thought we wanted to an even better result. Their listening, broad suggestion of options, good humour and keenness to work were matched by all the skills and close contacts required to effect a very high standard of workmanship, and thereby a striking result. We continue to be delighted by the outcome. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

• Re-covering a flat roof to make it watertight

  The team worked hard to ensure the roof was watertight before the weather became too wet, and returned promptly when it cleared, to complete the job. While they were working the weather was extremely hot, but they remained cheerful and continued to work hard to ensure it was a job well done. They were tidy and friendly (as usual) and the job is looking very good.

• Outside rendering and sorting out damp patch in the kitchen

  We have been using Amco for about 15 years now, but unfortunately we are moving. All the estate agents valuing the property, the purchasers and agent carrying out the survey commented on the high standard of the finish and work carried out throughout the house, over the years by Amco. We will miss Sandra and Tony and the Amco crew who have been amazing. Oh, and they did a brilliant job on the outside rendering and sorting out the kitchen!
