Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company.
I hired this company to replace a fence and the roof of my garden room. After taking the fence deposit, they repeatedly delayed the work. When the fence was eventually installed, I found the workmanship poor. The quote priced expensive fence panels, but the panels fitted appeared to be the cheapest option. After further delays and the problems with the fence, I cancelled the garden-room work. Despite the delays being on their side, they initially refused to return my deposit and proposed deductions that I disputed. Very disappointing experience. The delay was due to weather and factors beyond our control. Regarding the roof, we discovered the timber underneath the felt was rotten and provided a repair price, which you declined. We completed a few hours’ work and requested payment for labour, which was not made. As goodwill, we refunded the full quote despite materials purchased. The panels supplied were those shown and agreed at quotation. You later chose higher-quality panels and paid the difference. If you believed they were already included, why did you pay the additional invoice? You also confirmed you were happy with the fencing.
