Window sill replacement
Rob and Lewis replaced a broken sill which needed the whole wi Dow taking out. Excellent service, very tidy and polite. Will definitely use again ????
Replace conservatory roof with solid insulated roof
Rob and son did a brilliant job removing glass roof and installing solid insulated roof. There attention to detail and workmanship was first class.

Window removal and door installation
Applegate Home Improvements could not have been more communicative, more efficient or more of a delight to work with. They moved very quickly to quote up, do a pre-work survey and complete the works at a price we were happy with. Rob is a total pleasure and consummate professional, dealing with care with my elderly parents for whom the door was installed and working quickly on the day to get the works finalised to stop them getting cold. He also overcame a couple of unexpected obstacles on the day and reflected these in his price. Very fair and genuine guy. Highly, highly recommended.
To replace the glass roof of my conservatory with a solid, insulated one
I interviewed three companies, of which Applegate was the most professional in its approach and the most knowledgeable. Not only did they do an excellent job, they also did a great job of cleaning up afterwards - even washed my windows. In addition, they were so helpful with extra things like helping me to move furniture. Price-wise, very competitive. I would definitely recommend them.
Replace doors with a window and replace another window.
Another great job from Applegate which included building up brickwork, insulating and plastering. Robert and Lewis did a lovely job - even commented on by other tradespeople.

Can’t fault Applegate at any stage of the process. They offered good advice and options at the quote stage, we’re very helpful and accommodating while we took some time deciding exactly what we wanted, reasonably priced, excellent quality product, fitted brilliantly. Don’t even need to touch up the paint work. Very happy customer
