  No quote given, just started work and charged.

  Plumber was lovely and felt like a genuine guy. When I was contacted initially, by his boss however, I was told that I would be given a quote on arrival and then I could choose if I wanted to go ahead. But instead the plumber came in and turned a screw to stop the issue immediately (within a couple of minutes). Then told me the price for a 1hr of work (as that's the minimum they have to charge): £90. This seemed a lot and I told him that I was told I would be given a quote first.. but he said he wasn't told that by his boss. He apologised for the miscommunication. Sharing for next person.
