Bathroom design and fitting

Several years on from my disastrous bathroom experience with Rob and his incompetent contractors, I'm still reaping the miseries of an (unfinished) job badly done. I was left out of pocket and on the verge of a nervous breakdown. The 'work' went on for at least five months and left me with multiple problems including a chipped bath, a shower that wasn't fixed properly to the wall, messy tiling, a leak into my neighbour's flat and a door that didn't close. I couldn't face reviewing then, I just wanted to forget about it. But now there are all sorts of related plumbing problems emerging.

Haphazard, uncommunicative and finally aggressive

Despite positive initial impressions and a recommendation to complete the project whilst we were away, our experience has been awful. Fixtures were not ordered until the last moment delaying the project and we were frequently lied to about progress. Rob ignored our calls and when he did answer, was patronising and rude. Despite reassurances, we returned to a half finished bathroom which took another week to complete. Issues with an unstable toilet, bath, leaks and water pressure have only been partially resolved 10 months later. A final call ended with verbal threats from Rob.
