Fault finding - replaced old socket

Fault finding electrical issue with a poorly installed upgrade by another tradesperson
Alan was extremely knowledgeable and was able to rectify the wiring issue with our heating system with initially very little to go on. Prompt, friendly and hard working. New consumer unit (fuse box) and sockets.
Arrived at stated time, all work was carried out quickly and efficiently within estimated timescales and cost. Technicians were friendly and kept me informed of progress during the work. Took time at end of work to go through what had been done and explained how new unit worked. Ensured I was happy with work carried out before leaving. Fuse board tripped
My fuse board tripped, with power cut off to the fridge freezer, cooker, lights and sockets. Alan took my call straight away and was able to guide me over the phone to find the problem and get the power back on, without paying a call out charge. I am an NICEIC registered Approved Electrician with 30 years’ experience - 20 years of that subcontracted to Scottish Gas - giving me expert knowledge in smart heating controls (Hive, Nest etc), video doorbells, smoke alarm upgrades EICR’s, PAT testing, fault finding and lighting.
