Won't answer calls to complete job.
My garage roof needed redoing as there was damp showing internally when there was rain. Fred quoted for the work and I accepted. After the work was completed we had rain. The garage was flooded and videos were sent to Fred. He returned to site to do a fix and asked me to keep in touch for an update when we next had rain. I recently sent Fred a further video on WhatsApp showing where the water was coming through the roof. The first couple of messages were read but no answer. My last few messages haven't been read. Facia guttering and dry verge
Came to quote quickly once they turned up and started basically one guy was left to do it. Resulting in a poor finish. Every time I look I see another issue they tuned up to fix some bits which failed. Dry verge hanging off. Try to get them to come back resulting in many promises and time frames all of which no show constantly have to chase. No show I make plans to stay in or not go too far and no show. Not at the correct fall it droops in the middle or falls opposite ways. Investigate source of water ingress through roof tiles
Fred quickly found the probable source of the leakage and repaired it on the spot. He also advised not to replace a sagging but still functioning ceiling panel until we have had some more heavy rain, just to be sure that there isn't another problem. Amongst other things, to repair felt around chimney stack and replace lead work around chimney stack
Fortuitously, through an excellent local roofer, we have discovered that the work done by Armour Roofing last year was done to a very poor professional standard. There was a hole left in the flashing which had been very poorly fixed to the chimney rather than done in a careful zigzag style. Tiles were also missing from underneath the flashing and the lead was just placed on top, leaving a gap underneath. Other work done (e.G. Rubber roof which is apparently on upside down with very messy corners and edging; verging which is loose in places). Emails sent recently were not responded to.Verified reviewerJob location: MK41
