    Fantastic experience with Artisan Timber and Flooring. The whole team were great: while we were choosing the wood both Joe and Dan patiently answered all our questions, and then the installers Sam and John did a brilliant job with the install. The finish was to a very high standard and we're really pleased with the result! Highly recommend.

  • Repair of oiled wooden hall floor that had been badly stained in one area. Excellent result.

    A leaky air freshener bottle caused a bad stain on our expensive wooden hall floor. Artisan recommended matching the original stain followed by re-oiling the whole floor. This worked very well, so now the stained area is noticeable. Great result, will use them again.

    I have no hesitation in recommending this company to any and all parties as I am delighted with the job. Could we have got a cheaper job done elsewhere? Probably yes. But we would not substitute what has been installed to the highest standard in our home in any regard . If you want top end products, fantastic fitters and other staff, this should be your immediate go to company. Outstanding. Thank you.

    Artisan Timber and Flooring go above and beyond taking a true service-first approach. For our project, Rob took the time to listen and suggest flooring that would work with my slightly challenging timeline. During an on-site visit they allowed me to look through their warehouse and we sourced the only country-wide remaining Ted Todd flooring product in the specific finish I was after - a slight miracle. Rob arranged personal delivery and carried the product into our house. A true joy to partner with Artisan Timber and Flooring ! Highly recommended

    Lovely flooring, good quality. Everything was fine until after the fitter had left. Some of the vinyl planks have not been fit correctly or are faulty as they are loose and slide out of place when walked on. Contacted the company by email with pictures requesting a follow up, which I never received a response from. The company did have the cheek to email me requesting an additional payment of £60 for the original fitting. No explanation as to what this was for and nothing had been mentioned by the fitter. I replied requesting a response to my original email before payment, no response.

We also offer a high-quality wood floor restoration service involving fully sanding down the old floor and then applying several coats of lacquer or oil as required.

Artisan Timber & Flooring Ltd were established in February 2002 by Andy Walker to service the growing wood floor installation market. Starting with a desk at home the company has grown to include a dedicated wood floor showroom with over 200 large display boards together with a warehouse and 10 full time staff, two of whom are family members.

Whether you are a private individual or construction company we would be delighted to quote you for your project. We are based in Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire a we cover most of London and the South East and offer free expert surveys and advice.

We offer a quality fitting service with workmanship fully guaranteed for a year and many of our products have manufacturers guarantees of 15+ years.

We work with all the major wood floor suppliers including Ted Todd, Woodpecker, Kahrs, V4, Junckers, Furlong, our own Artisan range and also offer a floor matching service. We can also supply only nationwide at very competitive prices.

In accordance with current environmental concerns we are proud to be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC™) and offer a range of certified hardwoods, softwoods and timber products from responsible sources.
