Jay and the team have brought back to life a tired and faded old oak sideboard that has been in the family since the 1920s. It has now been revived and looks great, the wood has come back to life and the piece now glows and will hopefully stay in the family for several generations to come. This the fourth piece of furniture that Ashcrofts have restored for me in the last year, each time an old tired piece has been brought back to life.

As the frames on our old 3-piece sofa suite were of good quality we looked into having it restored and recovered rather than replace it completely. Ashcroft Restorations recommended that we do that. We were impressed by their approach and, since their quote was competitive, we decided to go ahead with them. We found them to be very helpful and highly professional throughout the process. The furniture now looks and feels fantastic, is of much better quality than what we could have afforded to buy new and at a much lower cost. There aren't enough stars I can give for these people. They collected the table, completely restored the table. They were timely in the collection date and time, as well as the delivery back to me. My dining table has been returned in an absolutely wonderful state - it is as solid as a rock, and looks like it will go another 100 years easily without needing any restoration to it in that time. They also didn't charge the earth for the restoration either, leaving me feeling we've been given an excellent deal. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Brilliant job done, not only removed all the ol varnish and stain but also smoothed out any dints in the wood. The top is now polished wood and looks glorious. The service, the level of communication, the attitude of the team was great.
