    Replacement mortice lock on rear door

    Discussed the lock issue by phone and provided photographs. Booked appointment for the following day. Arrived promptly, was a slightly more complicated replacement job than initially thought. The work was professionally carried out and area left clean and tidy afterwards. Highly recommended.

    UPVC Door Lock Getting Stuck

    I had an issue with my UPVC front door lock whereby when locking, the lock would be so difficult to unlock I nearly broke 2 keys and was worried I may actually get locked in/ out of the house. I found Karen on the MLA website and gave her a call. After exchanging a few photos of the troublesome door and lock a suitable appointment was booked. Karen turned up as arranged and quickly identified the problem. She explained in detail the issue and what she was doing to rectify it. Karen is very knowledgable and her service was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend.

    opening and replacement of broken lock

    Excellent service by Karen. We urgently needed the back patio lock replaced after the key broke and the lock jammed. She arrived quickly and was super efficient. Would HIGHLY recommend - a brilliant service and she did not have any hidden or 'extra' charges.

    I closed my front door, with the key on the inside.

    I closed my front door with the key in the lock, after shaking my head at my idiocy I went to CheckATrade and searched for a locksmith in my area. Soooo many choices, I spotted Karen's advert and called, via CheckATrade. She was there quickly enought for me, and had my door open before I could say much of anything. Excellent service, speedy, polite, knowledgable. And a VERY happy customer was able to stop panicing and take a breath.

    Emergency locksmith

    I lost my front door keys on a Friday evening and after sending a couple of pictures of the lock, Karen came out within the hour and managed to get me back in. She didn’t need to drill or replace my locks, got me in with no damage to the existing lock. Was so relived and thankful to have her expertise. Rate was also very reasonable. Definitely would recommend

    Locked Out Entry Gained

    Karen attended our property today (a New Years Sunday) after we locked ourselves out. Karen attended quickly, gained access promptly with no damage to our property or mess left. The fee was very reasonable and lower than expected. Surprising with the date a notable factor (two other nearer locksmiths failed to answer multiple calls) leaving us with the expectation of a very high call out fee. This didn’t happen. We cannot recommend Karen and Assist Locks enough.
