  Right from the installation of the boiler during a severe cold snap in 2021, Aston Cord's engineers have always been reliable, efficient, informative and friendly. This year was no exception. I would happily recommend Aston Cord for emergency or routine work.

  The boiler sprung a leak on one of the coldest days of the year.

  I left a message on Aston Cord’s website requesting an emergency callout, at approximately 8 pm. I was contacted very early the next morning with the repairman arriving two hours later. As usual, the service was exemplary and reliable. The work was done efficiently and correctly. The rates were reasonable. Definitely my go to company for plumbing or heating issues.

  Replacement of Baxi boiler

  I contacted this firm when our boiler failed to work and they responded very quickly. They had someone nearby who came within an hour and located the problem. He did his best to rectify it but it proved impossible without an expensive new part and, in view of the age of the boiler, he recommended a like for like replacement of the boiler, to which we agreed. The weather was cold and the new boiler was fitted two days later, so the service could not have been better. All involved in the work were very pleasant.

  Tap replacement

  We have Vola taps in our house, they look great but seem a bit complicated behind the scenes. Sunday from Aston Cord helped us to work out which parts we needed (and saved us a lot of cash by not ordering a whole new unit), and returned to fit the new parts. He was on time, very polite and good company. Best plumber we’ve ever had.

  Fitting new shower mixer tap

  Our shower mixer tap wasn’t giving hot water. I phoned Aston Cord at 10am and by midday Spencer visited to assess the problem. He returned at 3pm with the replacement part and speedily installed it. The shower mixer is now working properly! We are very pleased with the excellent service from Spencer and Aston Cord and will be happy to use them again.
