  Tearing down and rebuilding a retaining wall in the garden

  They completed the work to an outstanding standard taking into account my elderly neighbour and our concerns over drainage. They started and finished the whole job in a weekend. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

  Concerns over inadequate groundwork and the response we got when these were raised

  We hired this tradesman to remove our existing, tarmac driveway, extend it over the lawn and flower bed, and lay block paving. He requested £5000 upfront for materials which we paid. The work began with the existing tarmac being dug up. Some of this was removed from the site, the rest used to fill in the lawn and flowerbed. The remaining tarmac was spread about to level the surface. When piles of sand were placed on the drive we became concerned that the ground work was inadequate. We asked the workmen to stop so that we could address our concerns. They refused to leave, demanding £3000 more.

  Grounds Maintenance

  Edging kerbs and drainage channel.

  Toby and his team installed some edging kerbs along our front drive way as well as a new drainage channel to divert some ground water away from the house. I found his communication to be excellent and the work was carried out to a high standard in a short period of time without problems. Toby was also happy to modify our initial plans at short notice. If I had similar jobs, Id certainly use him again.
