Fuseboard Upgrade with Surge Protection + Certification

Upgrade your existing fuseboard/consumer unit to a new, modern unit with surge protection. This service includes the removal of the old unit, installation of the new unit with surge protection, and thorough testing and certification to ensure compliance with current safety standards. All work is carried out by a qualified and certified electrician.

The price includes a standard 10-way consumer unit. Larger consumer units or additional components may incur extra costs. Price assumes easy access to the existing consumer unit and no major alterations to wiring are required.

  • Removal of existing fuseboard/consumer unit
  • Supply and installation of a new consumer unit with surge protection (10-way)
  • All necessary wiring connections and terminations
  • Testing and certification of the new installation

What's not included

  • Major electrical rewiring
  • Chasing of new cables into walls
  • Making good of significant damage to walls or ceilings
  • Earthing upgrades if required (assessed and quoted separately)
  • Consumer units with more than 10 ways
