Blocked toilet
William couldn't come the same day but he did come the very next morning, dealt with a horrific blockage with very good humour and went to b&q to buy a new toilet which he fitted himself. Problem solved, we are hugely grateful and will definitely call him if we ever have a similar problem (hopefully never!).
Suspected blocked pipe to sink but it was actually a blocked drain
