We reached out to Axminster Design and Build after hearing many good things about them. We had a big garden project we needed designing and doing. They were so helpful and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Every member of staff was so polite and helpful, really made us feel part of the process and that's very reassuring when you get to our age.

Dave and his team did the excavation, footings, concrete slab and engineering brickwork up to dpc for our new self-build house and barn. Their skill and hard work got the project off to a good start. They overcame problems and their 'can do' attitude was much appreciated. The black brickwork looks very smart and the polished concrete garage floor is a real boon. Once the timber frame was complete they returned to do the finishing stonework, which looks beautiful and has been much admired. We are very pleased with their work.

DG Bastin were very professional from start to finish. They provided us with a quote to knock in two walls in our lounge/kitchen, plaster two ceilings and install new radiators. The work was done to a high standard and the builders were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about their Industry. We were kept informed at all times about how the work was progressing. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

We initially asked DGB out to look at patching our lime rendered wall, but on closer inspection we found that the wall was beyond repair and actually it was severely damaged due to root invasion of a large tree. DGB were honest and openly suggested having a structural engineer to visit and between us we decided that the wall needed taking down and rebuilding. We wanted it built in exactly the same way which presented its own challenges as it was a very old wall with special slate capping. I have to say that they were really very good and nothing seemed to much trouble for them.
