Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. As you will be aware, when you contact a business at the moment on Checkatrade you receive an email from them informing you that the response time may be up to 48hrs. So our response of 24 isn’t so bad.
The reason we asked the question if you still needed the work completing was because in your original email you informed us that you had no lights so we weren’t sure if someone from another company had attended.
On the day we did try to ring you multiple times to inform you the engineer was running behind on his schedule unfortunately we never managed to get hold of you. While the engineer was on his way to you we received the notification of your review and were informed by Checkatrade not to attend, so we didn’t.
I do think that you could have tried to contact us directly about the engineers arrival time if you were concerned. The leaving of a negative review straight off the bat is quite a drastic response.
