Ion is an exceptionally skilled carpenter. he is a perfectionist. the work carried out exceeded my expectations by quite some way. I would recommend him and his company to anyone. Replacing doors etc is basic stuff to him he is of a calibre that sets him head and shoulders above the rest.

Absolutely AMAZING, honestly Ion is god sent. I had a horrible exprience with a previous tradesman a Ion saved the day. I couldn't be more happier with the outcome. I've found a my go to tradesman. He's professional, on time, works so hard as if it's his home.

We are so happy with the job Ion carried out for us. He created a new door frame and handmade internal double doors to fit an awkward sized opening. He also hung 2 other doors. all jobs were exceptional, Ion is clearly a very knowledgeable and skilled carpenter - making sensible suggestions that fit your budget but dont compromise on aethestics or his belief that wood rules. A lovely chap, always polite, friendly and punctual - a joy to be around and he is clearly a very hard worker. We are already discussing other jobs with him and look forward to welcoming him back.

I reached out to Ion to build some bespoke units for us - a mudroom wardrobe/shelves/bench unit and a utility cabinet for washer/dryer/fridge. Ion was quick to come back to me with very clear and prompt communication. We organised a site visit where he better understood our requirements, took measurements and we worked through the design together, with him making recommendations that improved the original designs I had in mind. The finished products are unbelievable! He is a master craftsman and the units look super high end - we're so happy with them and will be using Ion again for other work

I’m extremely happy with the custom-made wardrobe Ion built for me. The quality, precision, and finish are outstanding.. Great communication throughout and the final result exceeded my expectations. Would definitely use Balanova again and recommend without hesitation.
