We would highly recommend Bassett Carpentry for any building and carpentry works. They are highly skilled, hard working, honest, reliable and a pleasure to have around. Andy and Pete have a real “can do” attitude and are proactive in overcoming any problems that might arise. Their expertise and knowledge shows through in all the work, in which they take great pride. The tradesmen they work with (electrician, plumber, tiler, brick-layer) were also brilliant and completed their work to a high standard. We are so pleased with our new kitchen and cannot thank Bassett Carpentry enough.

This involved gutting and redesign, removal of chimneys, removing internal walls and reinforcement with steels. Complete redo of all electrics, plumbing including new boiler system, plastering and flooring. Excellent finish, intelligent heating system is great. Plastering finish is excellent. Hanging of all doors and insertion of multiple pocket door systems. All in all, very happy indeed with the work completed- super team, really great and hard workers- who stayed on schedule despite COVID.

Substantial extension to existing property that required extensive consultation with planning and water authority. Piled foundation- excellent comms between all of the trades and BCO. Measures to protect bats all completed with Ecologist and iaw plans. Seamless fitting of windows and large amounts of glazed doors/lanterns. Includes all plumbing (inc underfloor heating), electrics, plastering and final components linking with decorators and flooring specialists. REALLY happy with the standard of work, ambition and customer-client relationship.

Really excellent work completed. Enthusiastic from the very start - from the first tender meeting through to project completion. Great relationship throughout. They provided regular updates, feedback and advice at every stage. The labourers and bricklayer were excellent. Tidy site, regular skip collection and considerate to the neighbours. Due to being small team they worked brilliantly throughout COVID restrictions with negligible delay. Very happy with the works carried out- we have a stunning loft conversion.
