Worried about these horrible tiles since we moved in. Jumped at the chance of having them replaced with more attractive cladding over some insulation, and boy, what a difference in heat retention! We were shown the cavity behind them that ran underneath the upstairs floorboards - no wonder the bay was always so cold! In my opinion this job should be included in the govt energy efficiency scheme list of eligible jobs for a grant, but I'm happy to pay the very reasonable charge for this 2 day job especially when the fellas are a local family who couldn't have been friendlier or more professional
