Dave has become a good friend over some years now. He is helpful and finds ways of saving money in household repairs. He also knows his limitations - he suggested that I employed a qualified plumber to replace my boiler.

    Fixing door back onto frame

    Posted 12 November 2022

David came in at short notice to fix a door back onto its frame for us. It wasn't the simplest of jobs as the frame was old and had splits in it but David went the extra mile to complete the job in good time. He was very fair on pricing too. Will definitely use him again!

Looking for source of leak in loft

    Posted 03 February 2022

David came out to look at a leak into an upstairs bedroom. He crawled around in some very tight spaces in the loft and redid the venting from the bathroom.

Various including fitting extractor fan and advising about toilet marks

    Posted 10 March 2021

Dave is an honest and reliable handyman who will ensure he proposes the most cost effective solution for his customer. For example I contacted Dave to request a quote for fitting a new toilet as my existing had really bad marks in the bowl. Instead of simply providing the quote and replacing the toilet which would have cost me north of £200 Dave suggested I use an acid cleaner first. I did and it worked which saved me a lot of money but meant Dave didn't get that job. That's the kind of honesty I look for in a good handyman. Thanks Dave!
