  Hanging doors and panelling hallway

We needed 4 doors hanging with hardware and panelling of hallway 3 floors, Joe was courteous, professional, punctual, friendly and a good workman, he took the time to explain what he was doing and was very tidy when completing the days work, hoovering up and leaving the house as he found it. I drinks lots of tea! He was a pleasure to do business with. He will come back to hang hand rails after we have decorated. We would thoroughly recommend Joe for any carpentry work and would use him again.

  Replacing floorboards

Joe was very clear in when he would come, what he would do and everything related to the job. The work was completed to a very fair price inside half a day and I will use them again

  Tongue and groove snagging

Joe first installed tongue and groove cladding to the interior of our summerhouse in October 2025. I recently noticed a few snagging issues to the cladding due to cold/damp weather over the past few months and contacted Joe to ask for advice. Joe returned and sorted out the issues promptly and free of charge, he also gave advice on suitable wood treatments I could use and how to minimise condensation that could potentially cause issues in the future. Great aftercare, thank you.

Two days carpentry and repair work

We had the Joe complete several jobs on the house over two days and very happy with the results. Joe was very good at keeping us informed throughout the process, his work was very tidy, and very well priced for the time he spent with us. He also made an effort with our son, who was scared of the noise, to make him feel comfortable. Which is nice when you have someone working in your home.
