Mixed experience, living room and bedroom done to a high standard with a second decorator present. Booked Mark again on his own for the hall, bathroom and kitchen and the work fell short. Quoted 4 days for prep and painting, as far as I can see the small hall was painted white and no woodwork was prepped before being painted by day 4, and then was told the bathroom needed plastering, which I’d of expected to be identified when quoting. Given the kitchen also wasn’t visually any different I decided to not continue with this decorator and book someone else delaying my move in by several weeks.

Im sorry your move in has been further delayed and rather upset by the 3.3 graded review; given that I boxed in your pipework, added new skirting and skimmed 2 large rooms to conceal the plasterers mess at no extra charge above my decorators day rate. Further to that you speak of a 4 day timeframe that was news to me given the work in the hallway alone, including the replastered ceiling to conceal the 3inch gap and plastering the walls. The plastering in the bathroom wasnt seen till the last minuit because it wasnt visible so nobody is to blame for that. The job wasnt finished.
