    Garden maintenance, mowing and tree trimming

    Rob has been maintaining my Mum's large 80' long garden for some time now. Mowing the lawns, managing all the bushes and shrubs and doing tree work when required ( the property used to be an orchard). He is courteous, friendly and reliable, sucessfully bringing a garden under control that was starting to look rather unkempt and making it look better than it has done for years. Rob is really knowledgeable about plants and trees, knowing when is best to prune and when to leave alone. Very pleased we came across him, highly recommended :-)

    To cut back a very large camellia

    Rob cut back an enormous camellia for us, re-shaping it and lowering the height. He did an excellent job, cleared away all the cuttings and tidied up afterwards, all for a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend him.

    Cutting back a large oak tree that was dying and also “freeing it” from lots of weeds and growth.

    Brilliant! Highly recommend. Robert was excellent, reliable, highly skilled, clearly knows what he’s doing and did a great job for him. Would definitely use him again.

    Regular maintenance

    Robbie has taken care of our garden since summer ‘22. He is diligent, reliable and has great gardening knowledge. Our garden, of over one acre looks all the better since he arrived. Happy to recommend him.

My name is Rob. I am a gardener and arborist with many years experience. I studied at Bicton College and Merrist Wood College achieving an advanced national farm certificate and a certificate in arboriculture. I am available for garden maintenance, tree surgery and general building maintenance on both a one off or regular basis. I am certified for chainsaw use (NPTC aerial chainsaw use) and supply all my own equipment.

I have worked outdoors all my life, on a family farm and also as a shepherd. I am used to working in all weathers.
