  Lock replacement and repair

  Locksmith came to replace a front door lock that was sticking and a conservatory door lock that had seized (total £540). Unfortunately, he misdiagnosed the problem with the conservatory door. He replaced the rail mechanism. The part cost £260, which seemed a lot. The lock, however, seized again. He then removed both deadbolts, but this compromised the draught excluder and the alarm. On the final visit he realised that the bottom deadbolt was the problem. The door now works but without the lower deadbolt. Replacing this in the first place would have been simpler and cheaper.

  New lock fitting.

  Steve did an absolutely brilliant job of first coming to free up badly working locks, advising on new locks, ordering them and then fitting them. This was all achieved in less than a week which was a fantastic service. Steve did everything he said he would, on time with no fuss. Fully recommended in my experience. Great job - thank you.

  Replacing broken Door handle and lock

  Steve is very efficient, knowledgable and friendly. He very quickly reached out to me after my initial enquiry and came round within an hour. He quickly identified the issue along with other improvements that could be made to the lock to ensure better security. Steve’s very friendly and explains everything in a very simple manner. His pricing is very competitive and simple to understand. I would absolutely use Steve again and recommend him highly.

  Front door lock replacement

  Our front door lock needed replacing and Steve came to assess it initially and then replaced the unit with a new lock system. Punctual, polite and helpful. Highly recommend.
