  loft insulation upgraded

  They did building work for us at the end of last year which was 10/10. We asked them for a quote to upgrade the main roof insulation which was carried out quickly and efficiently. We would always use these builders for the other jobs we have in mind. The actual invoice was less than the original quote which was great. Friendly, helpful and you can always rely on Barry and Brendan .

  Replacement of timber beam, roof work, party wall and other remedial work

  I cannot recommend B J Cooke highly enough. Barry and Brendan carried out a number of structural jobs and some less substantial building work on an old property. They kept us informed all the way through the process, dealt with the Building Inspector and left the property clean and tidy at the end of the work. Everything was carried out exactly as expected.

  Replacing old leaking plastic carport roof with a 'proper' roof

  Barry & Brendan turned up promptly, completed the job within the agreed timescale, including replacing much of the existing guttering. They were always pleasant and conscientious workers and kept me informed regarding the progress of the work.

  Replace garden fencing

  I have recently used Barry and Brendan to replace my garden fencing and to build a new side gate across my driveway. First class workers and couldn’t have been more helpful to me. I would certainly use again and recommend their services to anyone

  Lovely people to work with. Transparent and clear with the work. Friendly and communicate well. Checking every step of the job with me. Trustworthy, good with animals, bonus . Working throughout in the freezing cold , none stop. Great job in my garage. I will definitely recommend BJ Cooke.

  Kitchen extended into conservatory ,plus new roof on conservatory .

  We would thoroughly recommend Barry and Brendan who have done a fantastic job with our building work. Fitting our new kitchen to a very high standard and overseeing all the other work by other trades. They were always helpful with advice and suggestions . They always cleared up at the end of the day and did as much as possible to keep the dust to a minimum. They are trustworthy and it has been a pleasure to have them working in our home.
