  • Shower replacement

    Shower was believed to be broken. Brandon sourced an appropriate replacement and duly replaced it. It turned out that issue was actually the isolator switch. This was unusual and couldn't have been anticipated by a plumber as all the symptoms pointed to a normal shower failure. Brandon arranged for the switch to be fixed by a qualified electrician and offered to reinstate the old shower as part of the quote. I chose to keep the new shower as the original was four years old anyway. Brandon was helpful and reasonable throughout.

  • WC repairs to leaking cistern mechanisms

    BJF to replace faulty cistern mechanisms. After 3 hours he closed the isolation valves saying Monday he’d fit new toilets. We have an ensuite. Next morning water coming through our ceiling from bathroom WC. Turned water off, called BJF expecting him to replace the leaking valve. He didn’t pick up/respond to 4 messages . No water 4 days until Monday new plumber replaced valve in 10 minutes. He said old couldn’t have been expected to function as it was Xthreaded. Job completed, no need for new toilets. BJF not responding to arrange a resolution whereby he claims on his PLI for ceiling repair.

    Brandon was the ultimate gentleman, very well mannered and courteous. A very friendly, polite, genuine and down to earth tradesman, happy to spend time explaining any questions. Brandon even took the trouble to reschedule his diary to accommodate my job very swiftly and promptly, very professional and punctual. I rang every other checkatrade plumber in my area and BJF was the quickest and by far significantly the cheapest by 20-25%. No mess,no nonsense, just absolute quality workmanship with a smile. Very impressive indeed. I would highly recommend to all. If you need a plumber ring this guy!!
