  The damp issue was identified and remedial work undertaken. The workmen were efficient and very tidy and clean. The job was promptly done without fuss or real disruption. All very professional. Highly recommended.

  Excellent company to deal with.

  Called John for an initial assessment and estimate, he highlighted the issue and fully explained what would be required and provided a detailed estimate for the work and a timescale it would take. We arranged a date and the team carried out the work as initially discussed, once they started they discovered another issue which they informed me of and arranged to rectify the issue. Overall we're pleased with the work carried out and would recommend John and his team.

  Damp investigation on a house purchase

  John was a knowledgeable consultant who respected his client and was a pleasure to deal with. His was in regular communication and he took the time to explain his findings and estimate. I would highly recommend John.

  Damp Proofing

  Amazing work by Blackburn Damp Proofing. John explained in detail what work would need to be undertaken and the method his Company uses which ensures the damp will never come back! The work was to damp proof a very damp dining room and took 3 days to complete. Everything was left clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending John's company.

  Damp proof course and plastering

  First of all before writing this review we have no connections with John or his damp course team. The purpose of this review is to give credit where it’s due and as far as we are concerned it certainly is well deserved. John came out to give us an estimate and advice. He called exactly when he said he would and gave us lots of advice and information, he is very easy to talk to. He sent us a quote and we accepted it and gave us a date when the job would be completed. John’s team arrived bang on 8.00 am and never stopped until the work was completed. We would highly recommend this company.

  Investigate reason for damp & repair

  We were experiencing damp in 2 rooms but were unsure of the cause, It was immediately apparent that John knew his stuff - he identified lack of ventilation because of covered air bricks. Previous 'experts' had not explained why the damp was happening - just that they would repair - not getting to the root of the problem. The Blackburn team was great sorting this issue and rectifying the problems in the rooms, adding insulation, ventilation and repairing the damaged walls. The work was exceptional, thorough and tidy - everyone was professional and communication was good throughout.
