  Whole house decorated

We would highly recommend Blackmore Painting & Decorating. Harry and Alex did an excellent job for us and went well beyond what we expected. They originally came to decorate upstairs, but after seeing the quality of their work, we were so happy with the result that we asked them to do the downstairs as well. They worked diligently throughout, finished everything within a good timeframe and were extremely respectful and considerate in our home. They also gave us plenty of advice along the way, which was really helpful. They took the time to understand the look my wife wanted and helped bring that vision together, rather than simply turning up and getting on with the painting. The preparation was probably what impressed us most. They were very thorough and professional, and it has made a huge difference to the finished result. The house genuinely looks like a new build now. Harry and Alex were both great to have around and clearly take pride in their work. The quality of the finish, attention to detail and overall service were excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Blackmore Painting & Decorating again and would recommend them 100%.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review, Mo. It meant a great deal that, after seeing the upstairs completed, you and Amanda trusted us to continue with the rest of your home. We genuinely enjoyed helping bring the different ideas and colours together, and we’re especially pleased that the preparation and attention to detail stood out in the finished result. You were both a pleasure to work with and we’d be delighted to return in the future.

  Professional and attention to detail

Blackmore Painting and Decorating carried out a refresh of our garden cabin. Unfortunately it had suffered a lot of weather damage in certain areas. Harry & Alex set to work to rectify these issues with their expertise and attention to detail. It was so refreshing to have trades people who are such perfectionists. Any issues discovered along the way were discussed and addressed accordingly. It was a pleasure having them carry out the work. We now have a cabin that has been given the best tlc allowing us to enjoy using it for years to come. Would 100% have them back in the future.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review, Julie. Restoring the cabin properly involved much more than a straightforward repaint, so we really appreciate you trusting us to deal with the weather-damaged areas as we found them. Seeing it brought back to life and protected for the years ahead was incredibly rewarding. We’d be more than happy to work with you again. Thanks, Harry Blackmore Painting & Decorating

  Hallway painting

We hired Blackmore Painting and Decorating after a poor experience with a cheaper decorator who left our hallway unfinished. Harry and Alex were professional, reliable, and took real pride in their work. Their attention to detail and use of high-quality products made a huge difference, and they did an excellent job fixing the previous issues. The finish is now flawless. They were also polite, respectful, and hardworking throughout. Highly recommend.
