The owner did not check the foundations before the job started, and this incompetence led to £2000 extra expense for me, and we could go ahead. Made promises he did not keep, it took 3 months to clear the bricks and debris away, and in the end despite making all sorts of promises he has walked away from the job owing me a lot of money and is now refusing to communicate. He also charged me for lots of items which should not have been against my job eg a whole years insurance, advertising and other overhead costs. I do not recommend anyone use this building firm. Next stop small claims court.
