  Radiator Installation

  How not to do things

  A promising start, with Ali visiting within an hour to quote for relocating a working radiator. What was initially an afternoon’s work turned into three days and multiple return visits due to poor organisation, missing materials and equipment issues. Agreed arrival times weren’t kept, and work continued late into the evening, including soldering in the dark. After declaring the job complete and requesting payment, we discovered the radiator wasn’t working. Ali initially argued the job was finished and suggested additional charges to balance the heating system, despite everything working beforehand. We refused payment until the issue was resolved. Two further visits were needed before the radiator finally worked. Unfortunately, the workmanship was equally disappointing. Burn marks on the floor and wall, twisted and poorly aligned pipework, and excessive solder on exposed joints. The finished installation looks decades old rather than brand new. Ali is a pleasant gentleman, but his timekeeping, organisation and workmanship were extremely disappointing. Of four tradespeople we’ve used recently, this was by far the worst experience. I would definitely not recommend

  Ali phoned me so we could talk about the problem and he explained what he thought the issue would be. He then came to the house and confirmed what needed to be done. He immediately went to buy a new tap, returned and fitted it.

  Bit of a mixed review. Spent most of the time wondering if Ali knew what he was doing or not. I’d say he’s a plumber but not overly professional. He soaked our carpet whilst fixing our tank and no offer of insurance details etc. very chilled about the whole experience which was very stressful for me

  Friendly, knowledgeable plumber and 'down-to-earth' charges

  Ali was a very friendly and experienced plumber and was able to offer a better solution for our problem. He also offered to source all components required and completed the job very quickly. We've already requested his services for future projects.

  Installed a filter tap same day job was raised

  Installed a filter tap…The same tap Dyno plumber said he has never installed. Ali did the install in an hour He has wealth of experience where other plumbers were asking for photo he just asked straight questions and he could visualise it Job well done and not expensive either
