  Trimmed hedges front and back and cleared up afterwards. 30' long, 10' high, 10' deep laurel. 20'long, 10' high, 10' deep laurel. 30' long, 10' high, 10 deep copper beech. No problems. started in the afternoon, came back the next morning and cleared up.

• Garden gate replacement

  New garden gate needed, posted ad, they came quite soon. The guy quoted for a new gate+post on spot, we said yes. He went away, bought the parts, built the gate same day. Unfortunately he didn't measure the gap for the gate and the gate and post weren't wide enough. We had wood lying and said it could be used. We didn't know this would form a critical part of the structure. Our new gate is bolted on to three pieces of poor quality, not waterproofed wood, bolted on to the quality, waterproofed gatepost. A mess, there is flex in the post + already bolt isn't lined up. Won't come back to sort it

  Chris did an excellent job on reducing my overgrown rhododendron hedge and clearing the cuttings. He did extra work removing some dead branches from adjacent trees.The work was carried out promptly. The quote was reasonable and Chris was very friendly.

• Overgrown Back Garden

  I posted a job on Sunday afternoon, and received a response the next day ( today). It turns out that they were not too far away, and were able to quickly pop by to give a quote. I have a small back garden that was overgrown, needed trimming, weeding, and all of the garden waste to be removed. The quote was reasonable, and they were available immediately to do the job, which worked out well. They did a great job, in a surprisingly short amount of time, were tidy and professional.
