“Surge Protection Information"

Surge Protection devices are designed to protect the electrical installation (consumer unit, circuits, accessories, fittings) and sensitive equipment (eg. Computers, TVs, washing machines) from surges in electrical power (transient overvoltage). If you regularly use computers or other sensitive equipment, it is a good idea to have surge protection installed. This can either be an addition to an existing installation or incorporated in a new consumer unit (fuse board).
