• A long list of niggly jobs ….

  It was an absolute no brainer! Work needed to be done ….. no hesitation, I contacted Steve. Clearly it’s not the first time I’ve used him. All the jobs completed were meritorious. Steve is incredibly skilful with all jobs finished to an exemplary standard. He does not cut corners and even his tidying up is conscientiously executed. Communication was always prompt, friendly and helpful. He arrived on time and worked tirelessly to complete my list of jobs. A truly reliable, honest tradesperson that I wouldn’t hesitate on using again and would definitely recommend him.

• Under stairs cupboard built.

  Steve was reliable, prompt and really friendly. He turned up when he said he would and did not leave me waiting. He was tidy and considerate and did an excellent job of creating some under stair storage for us at a really reasonable price. If I have any other carpenter/handyman work that requires doing in the future then I'll be definitely giving Steve a call.

• Cupboard Shelving

  Wanted shelving putting up in some odd shape cupboards (under-stairs, bulkhead, corners). Having listened to our ideas for each, Steve advised what he thought would work well in line with what we had envisioned. On the day, Steve kept getting me to check what he was doing to ensure it was exactly what we wanted, and he even did a bit extra on top of what had been planned. The work is top quality, the cupboards look great, the shelves are fab, and he left the workspaces spotless. The job even came in cheaper than quoted. 100% will be using Steve in the future, can’t recommend him highly enough.

• Complete refurb of one bed annexe

  Not only did Steve manage to fit us in at short notice (due to another job being delayed) he said he could get it done in just 4 weeks. This included ripping out old heating system, taking out walls, putting up new ones, rip and replace bathroom and kitchen, new window panes and repairs, new doors and complete redecorate. Although Steve is a sole trader, his vast experience means he was also able to help arrange all other trades as required. Finished in 20 working days as promised to incredibly high standard. Punctual, professional, polite and thoroughly nice bloke to boot. Would 100% recommend.

• Repair to front door of a grade 2 listed building, damaged by emergency access

  We were so pleased that we found Steve and Breckenridge. Steve has a real understanding of repairs to older properties. He also was very sensitive about working in a house with an elderly person. We could not fault his care and attention to every detail of the job, which looks brilliant now it is completed

• Kitchen Fitting

  From initial telephone conversation to the successful completion of the project Steve could not have been helpful and accommodating.
