  Very Happy With Garage Office/Workshop Conversion

  We used Jon from Brett Refurbishments to turn our garage into an office/workshop space. From start to finish I couldn't recommend Jon more highly. Firstly the quote was very fair, all costs broken down clearly with different options given for differing grades of materials. Work taken out included, stud wall, insulation, plaster board fitting, plastering and painting. Jon is a real perfectionist and all work has been carried out to a very high standard. On the days I was not at home, pictures where sent to give updates. A trustworthy, highly skilled tradesman. Highly recommended!

  Dry Lining

  Plastering of a very old top floor bedroom. Super tricky as nothing was level.

  Jon made a fabulous job of plastering my top floor vaulted bedroom. It’s an old property which threw up some challenges, but Jon dealt with everything with enthusiasm and skill. Highly recommend. The only slight concern I had in the whole process was the payment schedule which required 2 payments before works commenced, which I found nerve wracking and against checkatrade advice. Jon was very honest and trustworthy, so it didn’t prove to be an issue, but it would have been a better overall experience had the payments been required after works had started.

  Jonathan is super professional, really reliable and a pro at plastering! I expected the job to be messy and disruptive but it wasn’t at all. Probably the cleanest trades person we’ve ever had! Thank you so much for an amazing job we can’t wait to transform the room into our future nursery!

  Boarding and plastering bedrooms

  If I could give Jon more than 10/10 as he was amazing. Having an old cottage, we've had problems with damp and condensation that we wanted to solve. From the first meeting Jon was informative and super helpful, telling us the best plan of action. When it came to the work, he had meticulous attention to detail, with the smoothest plastering I have ever seen! Communication was always great and Jon is enthusiastic, dedicated and has completely transformed our rooms!

  Plastering of dining room ceiling

  Jon was absolutely amazing. He gave very honest, knowledgeable advice and his work was impeccable. His attention to detail and ensuring a perfect finish was exemplary. He was attentive to important details that some neglect - such as cleanliness… preparing methodically and tidying up afterwards. He was also a pleasure to talk to during the job. The ceiling in an old property now looks brand new. I have booked Jon in for a bigger job on another part of the house and so would definitely recommend. Would give 11s if it were possible!
