Repointing back wall of our first floor flat in a mid-terraced property that had severe weathering

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Work – Highly Recommend James from Brick by Brick! James from Brick by Brick did a fantastic job repointing and repairing the external rear wall of our first-floor flat, which had several areas of deteriorating mortar, deep gaps and holes causing water ingress. He quickly identified the problem areas and also noticed that poorly aligned guttering was directing rainwater onto the windowsill, contributing to rot in the wooden window frame. He proactively addressed the gaps beneath the windowsill as well, which I really appreciated. James was friendly, polite, professional and extremely thorough. He kept me updated throughout, explained what needed doing and sent photographs of the completed work. He arranged the scaffolding on the first day and completed all the repairs in just a day and a half. What particularly impressed me was his thoughtfulness. He even provided moisture-absorbing dehumidifier blocks for our tenant to help the damp wall dry out, without being asked. Such a genuinely kind and considerate gesture! His pricing was very reasonable, and he only asked for payment once the work was completed. It’s nice to come across someone who is honest, reliable.

James responded very quickly to my enquiry and the job was done before the end of the week at a fair price and a good standard. He was a pleasure to deal with and nothing was a problem. 100 per cent satisfied!

  Lintel Repairs

James and his team have done an excellent job repairing my lintels, his communication has been top notch throughout, great professionalism to a high standard of work at a very good price, very reliable , and went that extra effort to clean up after, and was aggrieved that he couldn’t clean the mess up inside as I wasn’t in the house when he carried out the work, also a top lad, very polite, honest and humble, will definitely be using this company again in the future.
