Plastering and lighting for downstairs office
I had an emergency situation where our ceiling had collapsed. Mick, from Brighton 1 Building and Property Maintenance came promptly and gave a fair price for the work required. This is a professional team who work quickly and cleanly to a high standard. They are polite and friendly and I would highly recommend them.

Bathroom fitting, tiling and flooring
A pleasure to have Mick and his team in our home. They really were excellent and we are delighted with their work. They were very professional - punctual, had great communication and were responsive to our needs - going above and beyond to help us. The quote provided was accurate. Garage Conversions

Garage conversion with new bathroom
We have been lead astray by Mick and the delivery of our project. He has failed to give us time frames for completion of works when asked for it and has failed to deliver the works to an acceptable standard. Consequently, many elements hav to be redone at a cost to us including carpentry, reboarding, plumbing, lead work and many incomplete jobs. He claimed that he could do various parts of job, such a plumbing, which we've now had to outsource at an additional cost. Workmanship was poor and extremely slow &has cost us significantly more than his estimate due. We terminated the project early.

Extensions / Conversions

New flat roof with large skylights, extension and ensuite bathroom. New patio and garden steps.
Mick has transformed our house and garden over the last 3 years. He and every member of his team were unfailingly good humoured and very skilled, overcoming all the problems that working on an old property produces. Whatever Mick turns his hand to he does with great thought and skill. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for all building work.

Putting various big structures on my walls; shelves, mirrors, television etc internal painting
As a single parent of a daughter, I am very wary of letting strangers in my home but Michael was amazing in every way! He arrived on time with foot protection, without being asked. He was cheery and made me feel at ease in his presence. His work was completed to a very high standard, cleaning as he went leaving no dust or debris - my home was cleaner when he left! I have no hesitation in recommending Brighton1 Building and Property Maintenance to any of my friends and already have done.
