Ian and his team did a great job on our single story extension. We extended out to join onto an existing outbuilding. The back of the house was removed, interior walls were knocked through and the extension completed including a new fitted kitchen, utility room and flooring. We were impressed with how quickly Ian and his team got the extension completed but he had a serious team (7 skilled builders for the first 4-5 weeks). They worked hard including most weekends, they were considerate of us and our neighbours and they are genuinely nice guys.

Ian and team was very efficient. The whole job was completed in about 3 months. Project was very well planning and constant communication to keep us updated. Highly recommended.

Repairs to porch, front door and step. Great advice and easy to communicate with.

Loft conversion, entire roof was removed and new roof built with rear dormer, works consisted of 2 rooms and bathroom, and replastering of communal areas down to front door. Ian was highly recommend by local friends, and completed the works in 2.5 months. Ians team were friendly I would use him again. Pleased with the outcome of the work. Ian managed the works and also allowed the coordination of new heating system, new water main from street, solar panels and air conditioning while the works were taking place.

Ian and the team were absolutely wonderful throughout the planning and build of our extension. The works is of a premium quality, all delivered as instructed and within 11 weeks. Communication kept us up to date, challenges were raised straight away and we worked through to get the best resolution. Ian gave his expert opinion to make our build even better than we had planned. The kitchen fitter was such a professional our kitchen looks like bespoke cabinetry without the cost. The team went above and beyond and tidied daily! Will be using again for our next project.

We are very happy with Buildsmart’s works - new kitchen, knocked through to dinning room with new patio doors, constructing bathroom and utility room into the garage, and new upstairs bathroom. Ian and the team worked hard and efficiently, with all complete in 3 months. These were our first major works. Ian’s practical, proactive and solutions focused approach made it a much smoother process than we had expected. Always planning ahead, co-ordinating strongly with the trades to maintain progress.
